REPORT on Waterloo Institute of Soccer players Under 10 Football team (Waterloo Starlets) competing in the Barcelona Summer Cup International Youth Football Tournament at Salou Cambris, Barcelona, Spain
A group of 24 persons comprising 11players, 4 parents and 4 team officials and 5 Executive members of the Waterloo Institute of Soccer Players including WISP President, Raymond Jurawan (retired Principal of Waterloo Secondary School) left Trinidad on June 29th to play in the international youth football tournament, Barcelona Summer Cup from July 1st to 6th 2014.

Teams from eighteen (18) countries were represented at this year’s Barcelona Summer Cup namely:
Spain, France, Italy, Scotland, England, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Malta, USA, Canada, South Africa, Tunisa and Trinidad & Tobago
Trinidad & Tobago created history as the first team from the English speaking Caribbean to play in this tournament.
The selection of players was chosen from scouting other youth football development program and made up of players from the following youth clubs:

VISIT TO FC BARCELONA, CAMP NOR STADIUM
During this trip, a delegation from WISP including the president of Fyzabad United met with the FC Barcelona Foundation and presented a miniature Steel Pan from Pan Trinbago and a National Football Jersey from the Trinidad & Tobago Football Association; (see photograph below)
