WATERLOO INSTITUTE OF SOCCER PLAYERS OFF TO MIC 2017, BARCELONA, SPAIN
Waterloo Institute will be travelling this weekend to Barcelona, Spain as the first team from the Caribbean to participate in the 17th edition of the prestigious Mediterranean International Cup from 11th -16th April 2017.
This Class A team (born 1998 and after) comprise 30 members including players from the following institutions:

Over 528 teams from 41 countries will be competing in the MIC and in the group stages, Waterloo Institute will play in group J against Villarreal CF; Footvia Academy and CE Farners.
Mr. Raymond Jurawan, President of Waterloo Institute stressed that this international exposure will shape the player mindset towards the game as the MIC 2017 usually attracted top clubs such as FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Real Madrid and FC Bayern Munchen.
He continued to thank the Parent for being very supportive having raised their own funds; the Ministry of Sports for the use of the Ato Boldon Stadium for training and the TTFA for granting us the necessary permission.
