WATERLOO STARLETS U-16 Girls goes on Canada Tour

Waterloo Starlets U-16 girls football team of Waterloo Institute of Soccer Players (WISP) leaves for Canada from July 28th to August 11th 2016 and will be hosted by Waterloo Minor Soccer Club (WMSC) of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
This visit continues our tradition of exchange started in 2004 and yielded great benefits for both clubs.
WISP President, Mr. Jurawan indicated that players from Diego Martin Central girls Club were invited to participate and was pleased that seven (7) of their players and two (2) officials took up the offer courtesy some assistance from the Ministry of Sports.
Waterloo Starlets will train and play exhibition international matches with WMSC Teams and invited teams from other Ontario Clubs within the standards of the Canadian Soccer Association.
During their visit, the team will be making an official visit to the Mayor of Waterloo and as usual the Council of the Couva Tabaquite Talparo Regional Corporation (CTTRC) has provided gift tokens to be presented to the Mayor.
WISP President and retired Principal of Waterloo Secondary School , Mr. Jurawan is quite optimistic that the invitation to meet of the Councils will  soon result in the twining of the Waterloo’s.
The group will also be hosted by the Canadian Caribbean Association and twenty three female players on tour will benefit from this invaluable experience.
