WATERLOO INSTITUTE UNDER 10 football Team to play in the Barcelona Summer Cup in Spain
A group of 24 persons including players, parents and officials of the Waterloo Institute of Soccer Players boarded a flight bound for Spain to play in the international youth football tournament, Barcelona Summer Cup from July 1st to 6th 2014.

Their participation will be creating history as the first team from the English speaking Caribbean to play in this tournament.
The selection players on this tour was chosen from scouting other youth football development program such as Trendsetter Hawks, Laventille United, Fyzabad United Football Club and the host Club, Waterloo Institute of Soccer Players.
The format of the tournament for this age group is 7 v 7 and the players representing Waterloo Institute are: - Abdullah Noel and Shener Gray of Laventille United

During this trip, the Executive of Waterloo Institute will meet with the FC Barcelona Foundation for discussions relating to a FutbolNet Program in Trinidad and Tobago.
